Privacy Policy
Effective October 2, 2026
Cluttered Spaces respects your privacy. This page explains what information may be collected when you visit clutteredspaces.org, contact us, request a resource, sign up for email, or schedule a consultation, and how that information is used. It covers this website; a separate client agreement may describe information handled during coaching or other services.
Who we are
Cluttered Spaces is operated by Cynthia Rusincovitch in Georgia, United States. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Information you choose to share
If you contact us through a form, email, phone, or text, you may share your name, email address, phone number, and the details you choose to include in your message. Contact form submissions may be stored in the website so we can review and respond to them. Please share only what is needed to start the conversation. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or detailed medical or other highly sensitive information through a website form, email, or text.
If you request a free resource or subscribe to email, we collect the information requested on that form, such as your email address and, where requested, your name. Some free-resource forms also subscribe you to Cluttered Spaces email updates; the form explains this before you submit it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the message.
If you leave a public comment, WordPress collects the information shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user-agent information to help with spam detection. Your comment and the name you choose to display may be visible publicly. If the Gravatar service is used to display a profile image, an anonymized string generated from your email address may be sent to Automattic; see Automattic’s privacy notice.
Scheduling and other services
Our scheduling links take you to Calendly. If you book a time, information you enter there is collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can manage the appointment. Calendly’s practices are described in its Privacy Notice. Links to other websites and embedded content may also allow those providers to collect information under their own privacy policies.
Information collected when you browse
Like most websites, this site and the services that support it may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page, approximate location, and the date and time of a request. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its content. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google explains its Analytics data collection and privacy practices.
Hosting, WordPress, and security or performance services may process technical data to deliver the site, protect it from spam or misuse, and keep it working. These services may include Wordfence and Cloudflare. Their privacy practices are described by Wordfence and Cloudflare.
Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for website functions, security, and analytics. WordPress also uses cookies for administrative login and editing; these are relevant to site administrators. Google Analytics may use cookies to measure visits and interactions. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, some site features may not work as intended. When you follow a link to another service, that service may use its own cookies and privacy settings.
How we use and share information
We use information you provide to respond to you, arrange requested services, deliver resources, send email you signed up to receive, maintain the website, understand site use, prevent spam or security problems, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed for these purposes, including Brevo for email and resource delivery, Calendly for scheduling, Google Analytics for site measurement, and website hosting, security, and performance providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, our rights, or someone’s safety.
When you use an outside service, that provider handles information under its own privacy notice. For Brevo, see its Privacy Policy. We do not control the privacy practices of other websites linked from this site.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, protect the site, or meet legal obligations. Email subscription information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it, subject to any limited records needed to honor your preferences. Comments may remain on the site until they are removed. Technical and security records are retained according to the settings and practices of the services that collect them.
Your choices and requests
You can unsubscribe from email updates using the link in an email. You can also contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or ask a question about its use. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where required for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes. Email [email protected].
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for adults, parents, and caregivers; it is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should submit inquiries, resource requests, or scheduling information on behalf of a child under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this site without a parent or guardian’s involvement, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. The Federal Trade Commission explains when the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule applies to websites and online services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page when website tools or information practices change. The effective date at the top shows when it was most recently revised.
