Check-in
We identify assignments and due dates, choose a starting point, and set a realistic goal for the session.
Check-out
We confirm what was completed or submitted, note what remains, and make the next step visible.
Weekly parent report
At the end of each week, you receive a concise summary of participation, work completed, unfinished work, progress, and helpful strategies.
Questions about your student’s progress stay in private communication with Cynthia. You don’t have to sit beside your student to stay informed.

This does not enroll you in The Homework Room or any paid service. It’s a helpful tool as you figure out what works for your family.
Homework is more than one task.

Finding the assignment, making a plan, staying with the work, and confirming submission each draw on executive skills. The room makes those steps visible and gives students a supported place to practice.

The Homework Room is neurodivergent-affirming and supports different ways of thinking and working. A teacher can offer brief clarification across humanities, math, and science. Students still own the learning and do their own work.
